HEY THERE! 

MY NAME IS LAUREN LAVERDIERE AND I AM AN ACTRESS, WRITER, AND SINGER CURRENTLY BASED IN CHICAGO.

I’m a graduate from the Chicago College of Performing Arts with my BFA in Acting. There, I was able to hone my craft and develop a deep appreciation for the power of storytelling and its ability to give voice to others.

 

For me, the most fulfilling projects are those that are authentic with the human experience, portray slices of real life, and create connections that transcend the screen and stage. It's in these moments that I feel whole. I firmly believe in the power of storytelling to inspire, unite people, and bring joy to their lives.

 

Because of the unforeseen challenges posed by the recent industry strikes and COVID-19, I took up an unconventional day job as a flight attendant. This unique opportunity allowed me to weave my passion for performance with a love for travel. I’ve been fortunate enough to experience theatre and film from different corners of the world, and am now able to draw inspiration from a variety of cultures and life experiences. Today, as I return to acting, I do so with a newfound sense of freshness and authenticity.

 

Beyond the world of acting, my guilty pleasures include running on the 606, savoring the beauty of sunsets, experimenting with new recipes, and enjoying the company of my roommate’s cat, Cheese.
